  • Submitting a Corporate Profile;

Uses of Personally Identifying information

• When submitted to register as a Recruiters Online Network user:

  Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated.

  When registering as a Recruiters Online Network user we may request your email address and other contact information. We may use your email address or fax number to send you: account statements, invoices, newsletters, announcements of service enhancements and new features on the web site, surveys to monitor or improve the use and satisfaction of the site, or to send you marketing or promotional material about selected partners.

  To access and modify your personal information as a registered user of Recruiters Online Network:

  • Job Seekers may use the Edit Resume function found at: http://www.recruitersonline.com/jobs/edit_res_logon.phtml.

To contact you specifically about your account, we may contact you by email, fax, or your submitted telephone number.

• Submitting a resume;

  Since Recruiters Online Network hosts career sites, we give job seekers the option of placing a resume in online databases. All recruiters who pay for access to the resume database services may have access to your resume. We use our best efforts to grant access to these database services only to paying recruiters, headhunters, staffing firms, and employment search consultants. However, we cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to these services.

  You may remove your resume from our searchable database at any time. However, recruiters who have paid for access to the database services, and other parties who have otherwise gained access to the database services, may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances, or for the use or privacy of resumes by any of such parties while resumes are in their database.

• When Submitting a Corporate Profile:

  Corporate Profiles are provided as a service of Recruiters Online Network for the benefit of our registered users. These profiles may be indexed in directories which are searchable by job seekers and corporations. However, we cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to these services.

  You may remove your profile from our searchable directories at any time. However, job seekers or corporations who have accessed to the directory services, and other parties who have otherwise gained access to the directory services, may have retained a copy of your profile in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances, or for the use or privacy of resumes by any of such parties while resumes are in their database.

• When Posting a Job:

  Job posting is provided as a service of Recruiters Online Network for the benefit of our registered users. These jobs are indexed in databases which may be searchable either directly or indirectly by job seekers, other registered users, and corporations. However, we cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to these services.

  You may remove your jobs from our searchable database at any time. However, job seekers, other registered users, and corporations who have accessed to the directory services, and other parties who have otherwise gained access to the directory services, may have retained a copy of your profile in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances, or for the use or privacy of resumes by any of such parties while resumes are in their database.

• When submitted for editorial purposes:

  If you submit personally identifying information for editorial purposes, such as name, company or title, it may be used for editorial purposes, such as letters to the editor, calendar items, articles, etc.

• When submitted via "Email this to a Friend " feature:

  When a user of Recruiters Online Network uses this feature, they are asked to supply their friend's name and email address to automatically send the friend a one-time email version of the job. We receive the friend's personally identifying information solely for the purpose of sending the information, and we do not presently store the information after the email is sent.

• When Submitted to Conduct Transactions:

  To process a transaction or to offer a service, such as purchasing a subscription, personally identifying information may be transferred to another party to complete or fulfill the transaction or to provide the service or product. Financial information, such as credit card information, may also be collected and forwarded to another party to fulfill the transaction and to bill the user for products and services.

• When Submitted to Third Party Service Providers:

  We have today, and will in the future have, arrangements with third party service providers, such as credit card processors. When you sign up for a service we offer on the Site, we may be required to share Personal Information with that service provider in order to provide the service. These third party providers are not permitted to retain or use Personal Information for any purpose unrelated to providing the service. Our Sites may operate as part of a larger group of sites, and may carry co-branded pages. In addition, other sites may use the Site's or Recruiters Online Network's name. Since Recruiters Online Network does not control the privacy policies of third parties, if you input your information on a co-branded page, then your information becomes the property of both Recruiters Online Network and the co-sponsor of the page. Opt In / Opt Out Policy

When jobs seekers or companies opt to register at Recruiters Online Network, a business relationship is created between Recruiters Online Network and that job seeker or company. Examples of how a business relationship may be created through registration include, but are not necessarily limited to: submitting a resume, applying for a Trial Membership Subscription, or purchasing a Subscription.

You may choose to "opt-out" of sharing Personal Information in several ways. When choosing to use certain features or services on the Site, you can choose whether or not to share optional Personal Information in connection with the feature or service. If you receive communications from us that you prefer not to receive, you may opt out from receiving these communications, either by specifically indicating this preference in a communication to us via email or letter or by deleting your registration profile from our database and terminating your business relationship with Recruiters Online Network.

You may also "opt-out" altogether from providing Personal Information to us by not registering on the Site and thereby never establishing a business relationship with Recruiters Online Network.
